Which terminal you land in

Your airline and flight decide the terminal, not the transfer company. It is shown on your booking, in the airline's app and on the arrivals screens at the airport.

You do not need to work it out for us. Give the flight number in the request and we check the terminal against it before the pickup, so the driver waits in the right building.

Arriving in Terminal 5

Terminal 5 is where most long-haul and international flights arrive. If your flight comes from outside the Schengen area, passport control comes before the baggage belts, and on a busy morning that queue is the slowest part of the whole arrival.

Once you walk out through customs into the arrivals hall, the driver is waiting there with a name sign. The exact meeting point is written in your confirmation, so you know where to look before you land.

Arriving in Terminal 2

Terminal 2 is smaller and sits apart from Terminal 5, on the southern side of the airport. The walk from the baggage belts to the arrivals hall is short.

The arrangement is the same as in Terminal 5: the driver waits in the arrivals hall with a name sign, at the point stated in your confirmation.

Leaving from Terminal 2 or Terminal 5

For departures you are dropped at the entrance of the terminal your airline uses. The terminals are not side by side, and getting from one to the other with luggage takes longer than most people expect, which is why we confirm the terminal from your flight number rather than guessing.

The pickup time from your hotel or home is agreed with you from the flight departure time, the drive and the time of day. Our Stockholm to Arlanda page explains how that time is worked out.

If you cannot find the driver

Stay inside the arrivals hall and use the contact details in your confirmation. Do not leave with another car that offers you a ride: a pre-booked driver will not ask you to walk to a car park to find them.

Train or taxi from each terminal

The Arlanda Express stops at two stations: Arlanda South for Terminal 2 and Arlanda North for Terminal 5. For one traveller with light luggage going to a hotel near Stockholm Central Station, the train is usually the simpler choice from either terminal.

A car makes more sense with a group, heavy luggage, children who need seats, or an address away from Central Station. Our comparison guide sets out both options.
